New Delhi World Book Fair (NDWBF)   held for the past 41 years, is now a major calendar event in the publishing world. NDWBF 2014 is scheduled from   15 to 23 February 2014   at the centrally located Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.The Fair is organized by   National Book Trust, India,   an apex body of the Government of India, under the Ministry of HumanResource Development. The  New  Delhi   World Book Fair ,is    India 's oldest  book  fair .  First New Delhi World Book Fair Was held in around 6790 sq. mt area with 200 participants from March 18 to April 4, 1972. Surajkund International Crafts Mela  is an annual fair celebrated in Faridabad District, Haryana. The festival showcases the art, craft and cuisines of India. The crafts persons from SAARC nations also participate in this Fair. The Mela is located at a distance of 8 km from south Delhi in the historic site of Surajkund. The ancient Sun Temple stood here during AD 1000. The remains of the temple are still present here. The enchanting aura of the place won the heart of a Tomar chieftain Surajpal, a worshipper of the Sun god, who got a sun pool and an amphitheatre built here. The place was named after him. Surajkund was a simple tourist destination till 1987, when it was first organized. Later on it became a famous site which celebrated the centuries old crafts and traditions of India. by Sylvie Hughes  Gurgaon,India 5th November 2013 Child marriage in India affects a huge  portion of adolescent girls in the country.  With 47% of girls in India marrying below the legal minimum age of 18,  India has the highest number of child brides than any other nation in the world.  However, despite its huge  number of illegal marriages, in October India refused to sign the first ever UN resolution against the practice of child marriage – an initiative which is being supported by 107 other countries worldwide. Child brides face a multitude of serious mental and physical health problems.  Young married  girls face problems of sexual and domestic abuse, causing high rates of severe depression.  Girls as young as 13 drop out of school once they get married, and as a result they are unable to continue their education or seek help. Games and Multimedia played a very important role in creating awareness among school children about Hand wash and Menstrual Hygiene. We created four different Games for children and we called them as WASH Games.
