Cyberbullying Hurts.

Cyber Crime Workshop Conducted By Advocate Shikha Garg It’s not “just a joke.” It’s not “just online.” The words you post can break someone. Cyberbullying leads to anxiety, depression, and even self-harm. Think before you type. Be a friend, not a troll. Stand up. Speak out. Report abuse. Let’s make the internet a safe space for everyone. Cyberbullying is when someone uses the internet, social media, or messages to threaten, harass, or humiliate others. It can happen on platforms like Instagram, WhatsApp, Snapchat, or even in online games. It might seem like just words on a screen — but for the person on the receiving end, those words can hurt deeply. Victims often feel isolated, embarrassed, and unsafe — even in their own homes. And the worst part? Sometimes, the bully doesn't even realize how much harm they are causing. Our words have power. A single comment can either make someone's day or completely ruin it. So what can we do? • Think before you post. Would you...

Many of these opportunities come through NGOs operating in developing regions. While some of these organizations may require a basic fee to cover food and accommodation—due to limited funding—they still provide impactful, mission-driven experiences that students may not find elsewhere. These internships often immerse students in meaningful work, from education and health to sustainability and human rights. Universities in India, UK, Europe and the USA play a crucial role in guiding students toward such life-changing experiences....

Why Universities in India Should Share All Internship Offers?

Image
In an increasingly globalized world, internships offer invaluable experiences for students to broaden their horizons, build cross-cultural skills, and gain real-world exposure. While many of these opportunities are offered by NGOs that request a nominal fee. They still represent life-changing possibilities for students. It is essential for universities to recognize that not all valuable opportunities come at zero cost. Some NGOs, especially those working in under-resourced regions, may lack the funding to fully sponsor interns but still provide impactful, meaningful work experiences. Rather than filtering out such offers, universities should share them transparently with students, allowing them to make informed choices. By publishing all internship opportunities—including those that require modest fees for basic needs—universities empower students with knowledge. Students deserve the chance to explore, assess, and decide what aligns with their goals, values, and financial situations....

India celebrates Makar Sankranti, a Hindu festival marked by longer days and warmer nights, signifying a shift in astrological and agricultural cycles and is observed to worship Lord Surya.
